Lauren Haley, MD

Lauren Haley, MD will be serving as the MWPSC Fellow from 2026-2028.

Dr. Haley is a general surgery resident at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. She obtained her MD/MBA from McGovern Medical School in Houston. She is currently a research fellow in Dr. Takebe’s basic science lab at Cincinnati Children’s, investigating organoids and liver regeneration. She is involved in various clinical research projects focused on surgical outcomes and quality improvement. Within the consortium, she will be assisting with the initiation of a novel study investigating direct peritoneal resuscitation and be contributing to several ongoing projects investigating the management of giant omphaloceles and primary spontaneous pneumothorax.
